The difference between vacuum annealing furnace and vacuum tempering furnace

The tempering furnace is a periodic tempering furnace, used for tempering general metal parts after quenching, quenching, annealing and aging heat treatment of aluminum alloy die castings, pistons, aluminum plates and other light alloy parts.

Vacuum annealing furnace and vacuum tempering furnace belong to the category of vacuum heat treatment, which can remove phosphorus chips on the surface of the workpiece, degrease and degas, and then achieve the effect of smooth surface. The heating principle of vacuum annealing furnace and tempering furnace is the same, but there are some differences in the application of workpiece.

Vacuum annealing furnace is mainly suitable for the protective atmosphere under the control of stainless steel products such as water heating equipment, water swelling pieces, pins, medical equipment, stainless steel nails, stainless steel screws, pressure riveting, stainless steel bearings, watchcase, strap, knives, micro shaft, drilling, stainless steel tableware, such as deep drawing parts, in turn, solid solution, demagnetization, stainless steel bright annealing, quenching treatment of multi-purpose furnace. After treatment, the product has the advantages of smooth appearance, no oxidation, no decarbonization, high production efficiency, low energy consumption, less pollution, easy operation and low labor intensity.

Vacuum tempering furnace is used for tempering general metal parts in air and for quenching, annealing and aging heat treatment of light alloy parts such as aluminum alloy die castings, pistons and aluminum plates. As far as tool steel is concerned, both residual stress and retained austenite have adverse effects on steel and need to be eliminated by high temperature tempering or low temperature tempering.
